Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. dark corn syrup
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1 c. light cream
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Slowly cook sugar, corn syrup, butter and light cream together until 250° is reached on candy thermometer or until a firm ball can be formed when a drop is placed in a cup of cold water.

    Remove from heat and add vanilla.

    Pour into a buttered 9-inch square pan.

    Cut into small squares when cool.

    Wrap individually in wax paper.
  6. 6
    Yield: about 36 Kisses.
