- 1 (14 oz.) pkg. light caramels
- 1/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
- 3/4 c. margarine, melted
- 1/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1 c. nuts, chopped
- 1 c. or 6 oz. chocolate chips
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Grease 9 x 13 pan.

3Combine in large bowl remaining ingredients, except chocolate chips.

4By hand, stir until dough holds together.

5Press one-half of dough into pan and reserve remaining dough for topping.

6Bake at 350° for 6 minutes. Sprinkle chocolate chips over baked crust, then spread caramel mixture over all.

7Crumble reserved dough over caramel mixture. Bake at 350° for 15-20 minutes.

8Cool completely.
