- 28 caramels
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Unwrap caramels and place in pot with water and margarine on low heat.

3Stir occasionally until melted and smooth.

4In a separate bowl, combine sugar, salt, vanilla and beaten eggs.

5Gradually add caramel mixture, mixing well.

6Stir in pecans.

7Pour into pie shell and bake for 30 minutes.

8Makes 8 servings.
