- 1 stick margarine
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. dark Karo syrup
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 8 qt. popped popcorn, lightly salted
Directions

1Bring margarine, sugar, syrup and salt to a boil and cook to 240°.

2If you don't have a candy thermometer, boil a minute or two.

3Add soda and vanilla and stir well.

4Pour over corn.

5Stir well.

6Bake at 250° for 1 hour in roaster pan greased well with butter, uncovered.

7Stir every 15 minutes.

8Lay out on cooling board.

9When cool, break up in small pieces and store in airtight container.
