  • 5 qt. popped corn
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. Karo syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Stir sugar, butter, syrup and salt in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Cook 5 minutes, without stirring.

    Remove from heat and add vanilla and soda.

    Pour over popped corn.

    Stir, mixing well. Put in oven at 250° for 1 hour. Stir every 15 minutes to coat corn.
