  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 c. dark Karo
  • 1 c. brown sugar

Directions

    Bring to boil and cook 5 minutes.

    Add 1/4 teaspoon soda and shake cream of tartar.

    Pop 1 cup popcorn.

    Pour mixture over popped corn.

    Stir well, then spread on cookie sheets and place in warm oven at 275° for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.

    Turn onto waxed paper to cool.

    Store in Tupperware or tight tins.
