- 6 qt. popped corn
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 2 sticks margarine
- 1/2 c. white Karo
- dash of salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Prepare popcorn first.

2Must have a large bowl.

3In a 2-quart saucepan, melt the margarine along with brown sugar, Karo and salt.

4Bring to a boil and then boil for 5 minutes, stirring periodically.

5Remove from heat.

6Add baking soda and stir in quickly and thoroughly.

7(Mixture will raise in saucepan.) Immediately pour over popcorn and mix well.

8Spread in two cookie sheets.

9Bake at 200° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes to coat evenly.

10Cool and store in airtight container.
