- 8 oz. popped corn
- 1 (1 lb.) box brown sugar
- 2 sticks margarine
- 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- pinch of cream of tartar
- 1/2 lb. peanuts
- 1/2 tsp. soda
Directions

1Cook sugar, margarine, syrup, salt and cream of tartar hard for 5 minutes.

2Add soda.

3Mix well.

4Work quickly.

5Pour over popped corn.

6Spread out on cookie sheets.

7Bake for 1 hour at 200° in buttered cookie sheets.

8Stir occasionally.
