- 2 sticks oleo
- 2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 6 qt. popped corn
Directions

1Melt butter in a large saucepan; stir in brown sugar, corn syrup and salt.

2Bring to a boil, stirring for 5 minutes.

3Remove from heat and stir in soda and vanilla.

4Gradually pour over popped corn in 2 large, shallow roasting pans.

5Mix well.

6Bake in 250° oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.

7Remove from oven and cool completely.

8Break apart and store in tightly covered containers.
