- 2 teaspoons butter
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 3 teaspoons brown sugar
- 400 g chickpeas, drained
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Directions

1Melt butter, add chopped onions.

2Cook medium to high heat till soft.

3Stir in brown sugar, cook further 3 - 4 minutes to caramelize sugar.

4Place all other ingredients including the caramelized onions into food processor.

5Puree till smooth.

6Serve with pretzels.
