  • 3 large onions, sliced
  • 50 ml olive oil
  • 3 clove garlic, crushed
  • 10 ml white sugar
  • 5 ml salt
  • 5 ml ground black pepper

Directions

    Preheat a frying pan, medium to high heat

    Add the olive oil followed by the onions

    Fry the onions for about 10 minutes or until almost transluscent

    Add the garlic, sugar, salt and pepper.

    Fry for a further 10 minutes or until the onions turn light brown
