- 500 g golden shallots
- 90 g butter
- 14 cup water
- 14 cup brown sugar
Directions

1Peel and slightly trim the base of the shallots.

2Melt butter in saucepan and add the shallots.

3Cook over very low heat for about 20 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally.

4Stir in water and sugar over a low hear until sauce thickens and is syrupy.
