  • 1 cup frozen corn, thawed
  • 1 cup frozen lima beans, thawed
  • 4 tablespoons butter, unsalted
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 14 cup sour cream
  • 12 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
  • 14 teaspoon sea salt

Directions

    In a large skillet or saucepan melt butter over medium-high heat.

    Wnen butter is foamy and the corn and lima beans stirring to coat.

    Cook one minute stirring to prevent burning.

    Add sugar and ginger, cook and stir 2 more minutes.

    Add sour cream with pepper and salt, cook about 5 minutes more until heated through and thickened.

    Serve hot or put in oven proof casserole to keep warm while rest of the meal finishes.
