- 4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. Karo syrup
- 2 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1/2 lb. butter
- 2 cans evaporated milk
Directions

1Grease an oblong cake pan with butter.

2Combine the sugar, Karo, vanilla, butter and 1 can of evaporated milk in a large, deep pan.

3Bring to a boil and then add the second can of evaporated milk.

4Continue to cook to hard ball stage, stirring constantly.

5Pour into pan and let cool.

6After cooled, cut into squares and wrap in waxed paper.
