- 1/2 lb. butter
- 2 c. light corn syrup
- 2 c. white sugar
- 1 1/2 cans Eagle Brand condensed milk
Directions

1Boil butter and light corn syrup for 5 minutes on medium heat. Add 1 1/2 cans sweetened condensed Eagle Brand milk.

2Mix 1/2 cup flour with the other 1/2 can condensed milk.

3Boil slowly until mixture darkens and makes a medium hard ball (240°).

4You must stir constantly as it burns easily.

5Cook in a heavy aluminum pan. Remove from heat and add 1 teaspoon vanilla.

6Pour into buttered cookie sheet. Cool.

7Cut into squares and wrap each piece in wax paper.

8Yields 5 dozen.
