  • 3 to 4 ripe tomatoes, peeled and chopped (2 1/2 c. stewed tomatoes may be substituted)
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 one-day-old biscuits, crumbled
  • 1/4 c. (or more) sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 3 graham crackers, crumbled

Directions

    In baking dish, arrange layers of bread crumbs and tomatoes. Sprinkle each layer of tomatoes with sugar and nutmeg.

    Put graham cracker crumbs over the top and dot with butter.

    Bake in a 350° oven about 30 minutes.
