  • 1 c. margarine, melted
  • 2 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 dash of salt
  • 1 c. Karo white syrup
  • 1 can Eagle condensed milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Melt margarine in 2-quart saucepan.

    Add sugar and salt. Blend in syrup and gradually add milk, stirring constantly, to 240° on candy thermometer.

    Add vanilla when done cooking.

    Pour into 9 x 13-inch buttered pan.

    When cooled, turn out on cutting board and cut into bite size pieces.

    Wrap in wax paper squares.
