  • 4 c. white sugar
  • 3 pt. cream
  • 3 c. Karo syrup
  • parawax (walnut size)

Directions

    Put sugar, Karo and 1 pint cream in large pan.

    Stir constantly until boiling.
  3. 3
    Cook to 236° on candy thermometer.
  4. 4
    Add second pint of cream and cook again to 236°.
  5. 5
    Add third pint cream and parawax and cook to 242°.
  6. 6
    Pour in buttered pans (large recipe).
