- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. syrup
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Boil the sugar, syrup, water and vinegar for 6 minutes.

2Add the butter.

3Cool until it forms a soft ball in cold water. Remove from fire; stir in vanilla.

4Turn into buttered tins.

5Mark in squares when cool; cut when cold.
