  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. light Karo syrup
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 2 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cook until thick (in heavy pan) sugar and syrup.

    Add oleo; let it melt.

    Then add milk and cook at 245°.

    Add vanilla.

    Pour milk into syrup slowly, so boil doesn't stop--a must!
