- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. Karo syrup
- 1 c. milk or half cream
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. walnuts (optional)
Directions

1Butter or Pam spray a jelly roll pan. Coarsely chop nuts onto pan.

2Cook sugar, Karo and milk in heavy pan to 240° on candy thermometer. Stir constantly. Add butter. Cook to 245°.

3Add vanilla and pour onto prepared pan. Scrape pan into small dish to prevent candy from becoming sugary. Cool without moving pan. Score and cut. Wrap pieces.
