- 1 lb. (2 1/4 c.) brown sugar
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1 (15 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
- dash of salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Melt butter.

2Add brown sugar and salt; stir until mixed. Slowly add milk, stirring constantly.

3Cook and stir over medium heat until candy reaches 245° (about 12 to 15 minutes).

4Remove from heat.

5Stir in vanilla.

6Pour into buttered 9 x 13-inch pan. Cool and cut.

7Wrap in wax paper.
