- 2 c. white sugar
- 3/4 c. light Karo syrup
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 2 c. coffee cream or use 1/2 cream and 1/2 milk, if preferred
Directions

1Mix together all ingredients in saucepan; bring to a boil. Continue to cook until 250° on candy thermometer is ready, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.

2Pour into buttered 8 x 8-inch pan.

3When cool, cut into individual squares and wrap individually in wax paper.

4Makes about 1 1/2 pounds.

5This recipe can be doubled.

6Use a 9 x 13-inch pan.
