  • 2 c. heavy or whipped cream
  • 1 1/2 c. light corn syrup
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. milk

Directions

    Grease 13 x 9-inch baking pan.

    In 4-quart saucepan with candy thermometer in place over medium heat, heat cream, sugar and syrup to boiling.

    Stir frequently.

    Continue cooking until 234° or soft ball stage.

    Gradually add milk; stir constantly until 246°. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla.

    Pour into pan; cool.

    Invert pan, cut and wrap.

    Keep refrigerated.
