- 6 slices bacon
- 1/3 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
- 1 small clove garlic
- 3 c. cooked rice
- 1 (8 oz.) can sauerkraut (rinsed and drained)
- 1/2 tsp. caraway seed
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Cook bacon in a large skillet over low heat until crisp. Drain.

2Add 1 tablespoon bacon grease to skillet.

3Add onion to skillet and cook until soft.

4Add green pepper and garlic.

5Cook until pepper is crisp-tender.

6Stir in rice, sauerkraut and caraway seed.

7Heat thoroughly.

8Add crumbled bacon and season to taste.
