- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 Tbsp. water
- shortening
Directions

1Sift flour; stir in salt and beaten eggs.

2Gradually stir in the sour cream and let stand 2 hours.

3Stir in melted butter and the baking soda, dissolved in the tablespoon of water.

4Drop batter from a teaspoon into hot, deep fat at 380° and fry until golden. Drain on paper towel.
