  • 6 eggs
  • water enough to fill 6 eggshell halves
  • 1 anise husk
  • 12 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 tablespoon ground anise
  • sunflower oil
  • powdered sugar

Directions

    Whisk together the eggs and water, then add the flour, anise seeds, and the ground anise. Beat well.

    Heat the oil in a skillet and place the rosette mold in the oil until hot. Leave for 2 minutes before removing and dipping into the batter. Leave a section of the mold approximately 1 centimeter in width out of the batter.

    Place the mold and its contents into the skillet and fry until golden. Remove rosettes from mold and place onto a paper towel to absorb any excess grease.

    Sprinkle the rosettes with powdered sugar.
