  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. carrots, grated
  • 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/2 c. butter

Directions

    Melt butter; stir in well the brown sugar.

    Beat in eggs. Beat in flour.

    Add baking powder, salt and grated carrots.

    Pour into two 8-inch greased pans.

    Sprinkle with 1/2 cup chopped nuts. Bake 30 minutes at 350°.
