- 2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. Crisco oil
- 4 eggs
- 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. soda
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 3 c. coarsely grated raw carrots
- 1 1/2 c. nuts, chopped
Directions

1Combine sugar, Crisco oil and eggs; beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.

2Sift dry ingredients together.

3Add to Crisco oil mixture and beat at low speed for 1 minute.

4Add grated carrots and nuts.

5Spread batter in greased and floured 9 1/2 x 13-inch pan.

6Bake at 300° for 1 hour.

7Cool.
