- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 3 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/3 c. cooking oil
- 4 c. grated carrots
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Mix in large bowl flour, sugar, salt and cinnamon.

2In a separate bowl mix eggs until frothy; slowly beat in oil. Gradually add flour mixture; beat until smooth.

3Mix in carrots and nuts.

4Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 x 2-inch cake pan. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until done.

5Cool completely before frosting.
