  • 3 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 c. grated carrots
  • 1 1/2 c. nuts (pieces)

Directions

    Sift together flour, baking powder, soda, salt and cinnamon. Combine sugar and oil in large bowl; mix well.

    Add carrots and blend eggs in, one at a time.

    Beat well after each egg.

    Add dry ingredients; blend in nuts.

    Bake in ungreased tube pan at 350° for 1 hour or until done.
