- 2 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 eggs, well beaten
- 1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 3 c. raw carrots, grated
- nuts
Directions

1Sift together 2 or 3 times in a bowl the flour, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.

2Add the eggs, oil and carrots.

3Add nuts, if desired.

4Pour the mixture into a greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan or two 9-inch round pans.

5Bake in a 350° oven for about 40 minutes.
