  • 4 c. carrots, sliced thin
  • 1 tsp. dehydrated onions
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1/3 c. fine bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 c. cheese, grated

Directions

    Cook carrots, onions, water and salt until tender, about 15 minutes.

    Blend butter and bread crumbs; set aside.

    Drain vegetable stock from carrots and blend together with butter and flour.

    Cook until thickened and add cheese.

    Stir until cheese is melted.

    Pour over carrots and top with bread crumbs.

    Bake 20 minutes at 350°.
