Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped fine
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can enchilada sauce
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 small can green chile peppers
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 doz. tortillas
  • grated sharp Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Brown meat and onions in butter.

    Add soups, sauce, milk and chile peppers to taste.

    Season with salt and pepper.

    Cut tortillas into quarters.

    Spoon into casserole a layer of meat mixture followed with a layer of tortillas, and then a layer of grated cheese.

    Continue until all meat mixture is used.

    Bake in a medium oven for one hour.
