- 1 bunch carrots
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 c. milk
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Scrape and cut carrots into 1 1/2-inch slices.

2Cook in boiling water until done.

3Make white sauce of butter, flour and milk.

4Place a layer of carrots in 2-quart Pyrex casserole and cover with layer of onion, bell pepper and portion of sauce. Repeat.

5Sprinkle with bread crumbs.

6Dot with butter.

7Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
