- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 c. grated carrots
- 1 c. honey
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 2 c. oatmeal
- 1 c. raisins
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1In large bowl, cream shortening; stir in carrots, then honey and eggs.

2Gradually stir in all other ingredients.

3Drop from teaspoon on greased baking sheet.

4Flatten slightly and bake at 350° for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
