- 2 lb. raw carrots, grated
- 1 lb. brown sugar
- 14 oz. can condensed milk
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 lb. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 1/2 c. grated coconut
Directions

1Mix carrots, sugar, milk and water in heavy pan.

2Boil until almost dry, stirring constantly.

3Add butter and cook again until almost dry.

4Add raisins and coconut. Spread in a shallow greased pan and refrigerate.

5Cut into squares when cold.
