- 1 Carrot
- 1 Onion
- 300 ml Water
- 100 ml Milk
- 1 tsp Soup stock granules
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 10 grams Butter
- 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
Directions

1Thinly slice the carrot and onion.

2Heat butter and vegetable oil in a pan, and slowly fry the carrot and onion, making sure they don't burn.

3Add the water, soup stock granules, salt and pepper, and cover with a lid.

4Simmer for around 15 minutes to soften the vegetables.

5Whirl in a blender, then add milk, and bring to the boil to finish.
