  • 1 Carrot
  • 1 Onion
  • 300 ml Water
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 1 tsp Soup stock granules
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 10 grams Butter
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable oil

Directions

    Thinly slice the carrot and onion.

    Heat butter and vegetable oil in a pan, and slowly fry the carrot and onion, making sure they don't burn.

    Add the water, soup stock granules, salt and pepper, and cover with a lid.

    Simmer for around 15 minutes to soften the vegetables.
  5. 5
    Whirl in a blender, then add milk, and bring to the boil to finish.
