  • 8 carrots, cut in 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1 heaping Tbsp. cornstarch, dissolved in 2 Tbsp. water
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar

Directions

    Boil carrots in plain water until tender, but still whole. Drain water.

    Add other ingredients and slowly cook for about an hour until thickened.
