- 3 large carrots, cut into 1/2 inch chunks (very large)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 tablespoons cumin seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- fresh ground black pepper (several grinds)
Directions

1Cook carrots in boiling salted water until just tender.

2Melt butter in a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat.

3Add salt, pepper and cumin seeds. Stir until seeds begin to sizzle and pop.

4Add carrots, stir until carrots are thoroughly coated with mixture and are heated through.

5Serve.
