  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup white corn syrup
  • 1 cup water
  • 12 cup butter
  • 2 12 cups cashews
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

Directions

    Boil sugar, syrup, and water to a hard boil, 254 degrees in a heavy saucepan.

    Add butter and peanuts and cook to 300 degrees or hard crack, stirring constantly.

    Remove from heat and add vanilla and baking soda, stir well and pour onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.

    When cool break into pieces and store in an air-tight container.
