- 1 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 c. cottage cheese, heated
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. grated onion
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 1/2 tsp. dill weed
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 egg
- 2 1/4 c. flour
Directions

1Soften yeast in warm water; set aside.

2Combine remaining ingredients, except flour.

3Mix well.

4Stir in yeast mixture. Gradually add flour, beating by hand, to form a stiff dough. Place in well-greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.

5Cover; let rise for 50 to 60 minutes.

6Punch down; let rise again for 30 to 40 minutes.

7Bake at 325° for 45 minutes.

8Yield: 1 loaf.
