- 2 to 3 lb. catfish (fresh dressed)
- 2 slices bacon (fat back)
- 1 c. corn
- 1 c. tomato juice
- 1/2 medium onion, chopped
Directions

1Cover catfish with water; add bacon and cook until done. Remove fish from liquid.

2Cool.

3To the liquid, add corn, tomato juice and onion.

4Remove bones from fish.

5Add flaked fish to liquids.

6Cook until thick, stirring constantly, on low heat. Season to taste.

7Makes 4 to 6 servings.
