  • 4 c. cooked and deboned catfish
  • 4 c. potatoes, cooked until soft
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 1/2 qt. milk
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pt. whipping cream
  • 1 stick butter

    Put fish in pot with 1 cup water; add potatoes, onions, butter and 2 tablespoons flour with 1/2 cup cold water.

    Cook 30 minutes. Add milk and cream.

    Stir.

    Turn off heat.

    Serve hot with crackers or corn bread.
