  • 1 c. margarine
  • 1 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 (4 oz.) pkg. sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 2 c. powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) pkg. flavored miniature marshmallows
  • 1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

Directions

    Cream margarine, sugar and eggs until fluffy.

    Add flour and salt and beat until smooth.

    Put in a 13 x 9-inch ungreased pan. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.

    Cool.

    Melt chocolate and margarine in a 3-quart saucepan, stirring constantly until smooth.

    Stir in sugar and eggs and beat until smooth.

    Remove from heat.

    Fold in marshmallows and nuts.

    Spread over cookie base.

    Chill 2 hours. Cut in bars.
