Celery-Chinese Style

  • 4 c. celery slices
  • 5 oz. can water chestnuts, drained and sliced thin
  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c. toasted slivered almonds
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter

Directions

    Cook celery in small amount of water until crisp.

    Mix together celery, water chestnuts and soup; put in 1-quart casserole dish.

    Toss bread crumbs with almonds and butter and spread over top of first mixture.

    Bake at 350° for about 35 minutes.
