- 3/4 cup celery, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 cups milk
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Saute the celery in the butter for 5 minutes.

2Slowly add the flour, while continuously stirring, until the mixture is lump free and smooth.

3Continue stirring while you add the milk and cook until the sauce thickens, stirring constantly.

4Remove from heat and season to taste.
