Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 4 1/2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp. grated onion
  • 1 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 Tbsp. celery seed

Directions

    Mix sugar, mustard and salt.
  2. 2
    Blend in 2 tablespoons of the cider vinegar and grated onion.

    Gradually beat in oil.
  4. 4
    Beat until thick and light.
  5. 5
    Slowly beat in the remaining cider vinegar.
  6. 6
    Stir in celery seed.

    Pour into a screw-top jar.
  8. 8
    Cover tightly and shake vigorously to blend well.
  9. 9
    Store, covered, in refrigerator.
  10. 10
    Shake before using.
