Chablis Cheddar Soup

  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 green onions with tops, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 1/2 c. condensed cheese soup
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. half and half
  • 1 tsp. instant chicken bouillon
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 c. Chablis
  • paprika and croutons for garnish

Directions

    Melt butter in saucepan.

    Stir in onions and celery until tender.

    Return to heat and add all ingredients but Chablis.

    Cook until thick, about 9 minutes.

    Stir in Chablis.

    Sprinkle with paprika.

    Garnish with croutons.
