- 4 lb. beef roast
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 4 c. water
- 6 beef bouillon cubes
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- 1/3 c flour mixed with 3/4 c. water or gravy flour
Directions

1Brown roast in oil in Dutch oven, turning to coat all sides. Add 4 cups of water and bouillon cubes.

2Sprinkle onion soup mix over top.

3Simmer 3 1/2 to 4 hours, turning occasionally.

4Add more water as needed.
